It’s the evening of Monday, September 29, 2014. Life is just about back to normal after our 30 day, 3,500 mile trek. We stayed in 15 different locations; 5 of which were the homes family members that we had not seen in several years. It was a great trip combining driving adventures, tours of a wide range of museums, coastal towns, historic sites and geographic features. But, the most significant and memorable times were those that we spent with our extended family. It was so nice of family members to put us up in their homes. It gave us all a chance to reminisce at our leisure; reflecting on times we had together and events that had taken place since our last meeting. It was a priceless opportunity; and I feel like I know my family so much better.

We are so appreciative of all the folks that helped make our northeastern trek so enjoyable, and we hope to get to see them soon again. Thank you all for following us on our journey. It was flattering to know that you were interested in our adventure.
